Fixit Peace is a service membership and is not an insurance product. An eligible emergency call-out, the first hour on site and emergency parts are included — up to 2 emergencies a year. Anything larger is quoted upfront by the Fixer, before you commit. What you’re buying is readiness: priority when it matters, a home profile that’s ready before the panic, twice-yearly checks that catch small problems while they’re still small, and a verified network with your covered-property details.

Fixit Peace has a 12-month initial membership term. Included emergency benefits activate 72 hours after you join. Included: an eligible emergency call-out, the first hour on site, and emergency parts, for up to 2 home emergencies a year under a fair-use policy. Complete separately includes up to four eligible roadside callouts for the nominated vehicle, including eligible towing up to 50 km. Work outside the stated limits is quoted and approved by you before it proceeds.

Can I cancel anytime?
All new Fixit Peace plans have a 12-month commitment. You can schedule non-renewal for the end of that term in your account. For an earlier exit or an exception, contact support and review your Membership Agreement.
Why do benefits start after 72 hours?
The activation period keeps membership available for preparedness rather than an emergency already occurring. You can still post a current emergency as a pay-as-you-go request.
Does membership include free repairs?
Home plans include an eligible emergency call-out, up to the first hour on site and eligible emergency parts for up to two eligible home emergencies each membership year. Roadside plans include the limits stated in the Roadside Benefit Guide. Anything outside an included benefit is quoted before you approve it.
What does Roadside include?
Up to two eligible callouts per nominated vehicle each membership year, up to 50 km towing per eligible breakdown, and eligible flat-battery, flat-tyre, lockout and emergency-fuel help. A paid second-vehicle add-on is available. Per-incident limits, exclusions, availability and fair-use rules apply.
Can I still post normal trade jobs?
Always, free. Renovations, a new fence, a bathroom upgrade — post any standard job whether you're a member or not. Membership is for emergency peace of mind.
Are your Fixers licensed and insured?
Fixit247 records business, licence and insurance details during provider verification. Licence requirements depend on the trade and jurisdiction; regulated gas and electrical work is assigned to an appropriately licensed tradesperson.
Can I add a rental or investment property?
Each membership applies to one property recorded in the Membership Schedule. Landlords and property managers who need rental compliance inspections and tenant emergency support should use PropertySafe.
