Common questions
How much is roadside assistance?
Fixit Peace roadside plans start at $9.99/month for Roadside Essential, which includes one eligible callout and towing up to 20 km. Roadside is $19.99/month and Home + Roadside is $49.99/month (introductory rates may apply). Prices include GST.
Does it work everywhere in Australia?
You can request roadside help 24/7 across Australia, subject to availability, eligibility and fair use as set out in the Roadside Benefit Guide.
Can I cover a second car?
On Roadside and Home + Roadside you can add a second nominated vehicle for $9.00/month. Each nominated vehicle has its own callout allowance.
Who can drive the covered car?
Any licensed driver with the member's permission can use the benefits for the nominated vehicle.
Is Fixit Peace insurance?
No. Fixit Peace is a service membership. It is not insurance, is not underwritten by an insurer and does not pay claims.
When can I use my membership?
Included emergency benefits activate 72 hours after payment is confirmed. The activation period keeps membership for preparedness rather than an emergency already happening — you can still post a current emergency as a pay-as-you-go request.
Is there a minimum term?
All new Fixit Peace plans have a 12-month initial commitment. You can schedule non-renewal for the end of that term in your account.
