Common questions
What does home emergency membership include?
Fixit Peace Home includes an eligible emergency call-out, up to the first hour on site and eligible emergency parts for up to 2 eligible home emergencies each membership year, plus a Home Safety & Readiness Check. Anything outside an included benefit is quoted before you approve it.
What is not covered?
Eligibility, limits and exclusions are set out in the Membership Agreement and Benefit Guide. Storm, weather, flood and other natural-event damage is excluded from membership.
Can I cover a rental or investment property?
Each membership applies to one property recorded in the Membership Schedule. Landlords and property managers who need rental compliance inspections and tenant emergency support should use PropertySafe.
Is Fixit Peace insurance?
No. Fixit Peace is a service membership. It is not insurance, is not underwritten by an insurer and does not pay claims.
When can I use my membership?
Included emergency benefits activate 72 hours after payment is confirmed. The activation period keeps membership for preparedness rather than an emergency already happening — you can still post a current emergency as a pay-as-you-go request.
Is there a minimum term?
All new Fixit Peace plans have a 12-month initial commitment. You can schedule non-renewal for the end of that term in your account.
