Stop turning the key
Do not try to turn the lock with the broken piece or another key.

Check if the fragment is visible
If the end is sticking out, you can try gently pulling it straight out with tweezers or needle-nose pliers.

Do not use glue
Superglue or adhesives can seal the lock and turn a simple extraction into a replacement.

Secure the property
If the door cannot be locked, use another locked entry and avoid leaving the home unsecured.

Call a locksmith
A locksmith can extract the fragment, cut a new key and service or replace the cylinder.
